Some moments big and small, from the past week or so. I got one of my orchids to flower again after years of not! After struggling with the decision for weeks, my kids 6+8 started public school this past Tuesday, for the first time. We've been homeschooling all these years. Lots of big feelings around this transition. I figure it will give us about a 3 month trial run to see if it's a good fit. If not, we'll readjust for next year. After years of not being indoors around groups of kids, it only took 3 days for my youngest to come home with a fever! That was faster than expected! I got my home made greenhouse project finished! Using a metal shelf that normally just has my grill on the top, I added seedling heat mats, a towel layer for insulation, six seed trays, all planted, the grow lights and the plastic sheeting stapled and wrapped around and above the shelf.
