This painting will be based on a art journal page I did a couple of years ago. Â I have always thought it would be fun to make it into an actual full sized painting. Â The substrate being used is artist’s canvas board. Â It is an experiment to see if this board will take a watercolor wash or not as it is usually used for acrylics. Â The first layer is carefully torn, cut, ripped and placed drafting tape pieces. Â The second layer is the first watercolor wash with a mixture of Daniel Smith’s Iridescent Electric Blue and Manganese Blue Hue. Â So far I am liking it!
